The Evils of Pornography

KJV Matt 05:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Adultery:

To look on a woman, this includes women, pictures, images, statues, paintings, imagination, cartoons, drawings, sketches or any other representation of a woman you are not married to.

lust grows from such acts, and it can, and in men more often then women becomes addictive.

Once a person is addicted to, and needs pornography to satisfy their lust, the trust is destroyed in a marriage, because something or someone else is entering into the marriage.

Those who say to themselves: I am not yet married so I can look at pornography are visiting a prostitute in mind and heart.  When they do get married they have a extremely hard time leaving their pornography behind. All adultery betrays the trust of marriage and weakens or destroys it.

Most killers, rapists, and unfeeling criminals usually start off looking at soft, less graphic pornography, and through time move to more graphic, explicit and then horrific sick pictures

to give them the same rush they use to get from the softer less graphic porn. as they continue to look at satisfying their lusts, love and goodness are replaced with lust and evil selfishness.

To them people become only objects for them to use to fill their selfish desires.  The feelings of other people become of less and less regard, until they have no value. Then the life and welfare of those to be used, is of no thought to the lost addicted sex addict.  What starts out as a private act of viewing soft pornography often turns into obsession that hurts or kills many.  Saying to yourself that it will not advance beyond soft pornography is like a smoker saying they will just smoke five cigarettes a day, or a alcoholic saying they will only have one beer.

If you do a survey of the people in prisons, one thing that almost every hard core violent criminal has in common is a lust for pornography.  Pornography makes people look at

people as objects for their lust, rather than as people.  Our society is every day preaching to us through diverse media to take what we want, to be satisfied, to covet what is not ours.

to Buy what we want, to take what is wanted, to get what is desired, to live lustfully for today.

If we desire to be married then God wants us to be married (to one person of the opposite sex) and only have relations with our spouse.  We are to flee from sin (run away from it) avoid temptation and not allow any place, room or convenience for sin to be in our lives.  If something is tempting you sexually other than your own wife or husband run away, or remove it from your home, office and life.  Do not provide a time, place, or opening for things that tempt you.  All evil that takes control of us starts usually as one small SIN that leads to another slightly bigger one.

KJV John 08:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

1The 04:03-5 For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

KJV 2Pet 03:09-10 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

KJV 1Cor 06:18-20 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
