What the Bible Says about Adultery.

KJV John 08:03-11

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with [his] finger wrote on the ground, [as though he heard them not].

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

And they which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from [her] husband committeth adultery.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none [is] good, save one, [that is], God.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Our society is becoming more and more like the Rome that is written about in

Romans Chapter 1, and Adultery is becoming much more common and almost accepted as a

part of life by many in our society. The President of the United States Bill Clinton lied to the

American people about committing Adultery, and when he finally admitted that he had lied, still he

refused to openly confess what he had done was commit Adultery by having Sex. By allowing him to serve out his term as President our Government endorsed Oral Sex as allowable behavior not equated with Adultery. If Oral Sex between two people who are not married is now like a kiss on the cheek to

our United States Government officials, is it any wonder why Children are not equating Oral Sex outside

of Marriage to be Adultery, Sinful or even wrong in any way? The head of our Country and Military

Got away with what any Military service man would have been Dishonorably Discharged for doing.
